Connecting Your Socials to the Influentials Platform

In this article, we’ll explain how to access the Influentials platform and connect your social media accounts.

Important: Facebook Connection Required

To connect your Instagram to the Influentials platform, you need a Facebook account and Facebook Page. Unfortunately, it’s currently not possible to apply for Instagram campaigns the platform without them.

We use Facebook’s integration with Instagram to:

  • track your Instagram performance,
  • allow campaign applications,
  • and enable content uploads for collaborations.

Please note: Influentials will never post on your behalf or take control of your accounts.

Important META Update (April 2026)

Due to recent META policy changes, only creators who connected their Instagram account to a Facebook Page before April 1st, 2026 can currently connect their Instagram to the Influentials platform.

Unfortunately, newly created Facebook Pages can no longer be recognised by META’s API, which means we’re unable to establish the connection for new setups at this time.

What does this mean?

  • If your Instagram was already connected to an existing Facebook Page before April 1st, 2026, you can still connect your socials to Influentials.
  • If you create a brand-new Facebook Page now, the connection may not work.

We know this is frustrating, and we’re actively working on a solution that will allow creators to connect their Instagram accounts without needing a Facebook Page in the future.

Step 1: Connect Your Instagram to a Facebook Page

Before connecting to Influentials, your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page.

Don’t worry you don’t need to actively use the Facebook Page. The connection simply needs to exist for the Influentials platform to work properly.

How to check or connect your Facebook Page

You can do this directly in the Instagram app:

  1. Go to your Instagram profile
  2. Tap Edit Profile
  3. Under Profile Information, select Page
  4. Here you can:
    • see which Facebook Page is connected,
    • connect an existing Page,
    • or create a new one

⚠️ Keep in mind: newly created Pages may not work due to META’s updated restrictions.

Step 2: Connect Your Socials to Influentials

Once your Instagram is properly linked to a Facebook Page, you can connect your socials to the Influentials platform.

Before connecting:

  • Make sure you are logged into the correct Facebook account
  • Ensure the Facebook Page is connected to the right Instagram account
  • Grant the requested permissions during login

These permissions only allow us to verify and sync your account data. We cannot:

  • post content,
  • change settings,
  • or manage your socials in any way.

After connecting, you’ll be able to:

  • apply for campaigns,
  • upload campaign content,
  • and access your creator dashboard.

Getting the “We couldn’t find any pages to connect with” Error?

This usually means your Facebook Page and Instagram account are not properly connected.

Follow these steps to check the connection:

Check Your Facebook & Instagram Connection

⚠️ Important: Use a laptop or desktop computer for these steps. Some settings are not available on mobile.

  1. Go to Facebook
  2. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner
  3. Switch into the Facebook Page that should be connected to your Instagram
  4. Open Settings & Privacy
  5. Go to Settings
  6. Scroll to Permissions
  7. Click Linked Accounts

Here you’ll see:

  • which Instagram account is connected,
  • available access settings,
  • and the option to disconnect/reconnect your Instagram account.

If your Instagram account does not appear here, reconnect it either:

  • through Facebook settings,
  • or directly in the Instagram app.

Please note that META’s systems may take some time to recognise the connection, so it can help to try again a little later.

You can also check META’s official help article for additional information.

Still Not Working?

If you’ve checked everything above and the connection still fails, try disconnecting Influentials from your Facebook Business Integrations settings.

To do this:

  1. Open your Facebook settings
  2. Go to Business Integrations
  3. Remove Influentials
  4. Log in to Influentials again
  5. Reconnect your socials

This often refreshes the connection and resolves syncing issues.

Final Step: Wait for Your Data to Load

Once your socials are successfully connected, it can take a few hours for your data to fully load into the platform.

After that, you’ll be ready to apply for campaigns and start collaborating. 🚀
